  • With aggressive representation from The Draper Law Firm, a client charged with possession of marijuana had all charges dismissed. This allowed the client to keep a clean record and not have to explain a drug conviction to employers or others. 
  • A client was being held in the Wayne County Jail after having multiple felony convictions and facing new drug charges. The client also had a history of failing to appear in court.  Within hours of being retained, The Draper Law Firm secured his release from custody.
  • The Draper Law Firm obtained a dismissal of multiple criminal charges against a liquor licensed establishment arising out of a failure to obtain and post various required city licenses.

  • The Draper Law Firm successfully defends international auto supplier against breach of contract claims brought by a manufacturers representative in the amount of $48 million. After conducting extensive discovery and winning several key motions, the Draper Law Firm was able to settle the lawsuit for less than three percent of the original claim.

  • The Draper Law Firm obtains a complete dismissal of all claims brought against its client in an ERISA benefits action. The plaintiff alleged improper siphoning of ERISA plan benefits, based on a breach of contract theory. After having the case removed to Federal Court, the Firm successfully argued a motion for summary judgment, resulting in the Court issuing an order dismissing all claims.
  • With its client facing a maximum penalty of over 15 years in prison, stemming from three separate assault charges, the Draper Law Firm successfully argued that the most serious charge should be dropped after conducting a preliminary examination.  On the heals of that victory, the Draper Law Firm was able to swiftly negotiate a final sentence of probation.

  • Judgment for Costs upheld against Plaintiff who brought employment discrimination claim against a Draper Law Firm business client. Plaintiff will now have to repay costs of defending the lawsuit. The Draper Law Firm originally argued the claims to a jury which resulted in a complete victory for the business client.
